Accountability

The people who operate the Children’s Cancer Alliance are part of a club no one wants to be a part of: parents and loved ones of children with cancer.

We’ve had those gut-wrenching diagnosis conversations. We’ve lived in pediatric cancer wards as our children have fought their way through in-patients treatments. We’ve seen and lived it all.

So when policymakers and/or hospital administrators try to peddle BS about why children’s cancer research is not a top funding priority, we can smell it coming from a mile away.

And we don’t like it.

If needed, we shine a spotlight on people in positions of power who stand in the way of funding children’s cancer research at appropriate levels. We name names and we spread the word.

Our accountability motto is simple: Change doesn’t happen when the people in power are comfortable.
